I really like Laura mercier brow pencil in brunette, it's a nice finish not a soft pencil doesn't give off a waxy harsh glistening look like many others I've tried before.I've been buying it for about 4 years it's awesome :-)

Any eyebrow pencil works fine. a trick I learned when using cheap brow pencils is to light the tip of the pencil with a lighter n it won't go on with smudges. work just as good as any other pencil!

As far as shade always go a shade or two lighter than your eyebrows.

I love MAC pencil in Spiked. Hourglass has one that is even better than MAC. But if on a budget I suggest using a matte eyeshadow and using NYX Eyebrow Shaper to seal the brows.

I like the MAC pencil or the Benefit one, they both give a waxy texture which stays put all day. All make up counters will match you the right shade :)
