Primer creates a canvass for makeup, minimises pores and helps makeup last longer, creating a barrier so makeup doesn't react too much with the oils of your skin.

Primers for your face work the same as paint primers for your walls. they fill in imperfections to helo makeup go on smoothly and help it to last longer.
