I'm going on vacation and I want to bring bobbypins my hair extensions and my hair curler on my carry on? Will I hold up the line if it looks suspicions on the X-ray?

I took my curling iron , straightener , and blow dryer on my carry on no problem and had a few hobby pins in my hair not on my carry on but I think it should be fine if I had them in my hair clear as day

I took my hair dryer, bobby pins and other general bits and peices with me when I flew to Barcelona earlier in May and I didn't have any problems. The only restrictions are obviously dangerous items like knives and liquids which have to fit in a 20cm x 20cm clear zip lock type bag and each container can't be larger than 100ml besides that you will be fine with all the things you mentioned xx

Sounds fine to me. I've traveled with a nebulizer for my daughter and they couldn't have given a shit. I thought all the wires and tubes would make them suspicious, but nope.

The TSA in Sacramento made my friend check her straightener because the cord could be used as a weapon. Check with your specific airports and when in doubt, put it in your checked luggage.
