The only thing that ever worked for me was the Caruso Steam rollers, but it takes forever and is hard to control. Is there a good product or technique for thick, straight hair?

If you're looking for a tip for helping those curls last when using a curling iron or wand I've been curling my hair this way since my aesthetics school days:spritz a working hairspray on each section before curling. also don't make your sections to big or the heat won't permeate the entire section. no bigger than 1"x1". hope that helps.

I love curls in my hair and I use to take ages curling n when it's all curled I'd get 10 mins before it goes straight... So now I've ditched that curling tong for a product called Amika: came across it in a shopping centre n they were doing tutorials... Well I bought one and since then I've thrown out my other curling wands... It takes 5 sec to curl... N they last even the next day!! :) I love it!!
