I need help, my hair is the most unmanageable annoying head of hair anyone can imagine!
It's thick long dry and damaged. I am in the process of growing out the dead and dyed hair but it seems impossible to keep the knots and tangles out of it unless I brush it every hour!! Please help me guys

My hair sounds so similar to yours. The other day I was in a rush and accidentally left some conditioner in my hair. I noticed that my hair was so much more manageable and my spilt ends look a lot better than usual. Just don't leave too much in or your hair will look greasy.

You need moisture. It seems at least. And splashing cold water will not fix you hair. Find an intensive moisture masque and use it at least once a week. I know it's hard but heat is not your friend and if you can just wet style it until its healthier, it would be beneficial. If you do use heat, a protecting spray is essential or your frying all the moisture you put in your hair. Keratin is the protein in your hair and I would recommend buying a product with keratin but only using it until you feel your hair is getting healthier because you can overkeratinize your hair. (It will feel brittle and sna p in half easily) and GET HAIRCUTS. Your hair is already breaking off from damage and you will never see any growth because just as fast as it is growing it is breaking off. Hopefully I've helped a bit. And I would try to get my in a conditioner/shampoo.

I almost never use heat unless its a special occasion, and every 6 weeks I get a haircut cause my aunt is a hairdresser it's just so difficult to manage.

A good oil massage preferably coconut and olive oil mixed atleast thrice a week. Use a good shampoo and conditioner! you can use hair serum everyday for a managable hair.
also, you can use this hair mask once a week.
mix 1 egg in a bowl of yogurt and apply to hair. keep it for 2hours and then wash with water.
you can use fenugreek seeds paste if don't like the egg which lingers even after washing!
all the best!

Try doing olive oil masks...it makes your hair really smooth and more manageable.
