If you like the shape of the first one; get it.
However, since it is your first time, I have a few minor suggestions.
If you decided to go with the first one, I would go for a less sharp style; maybe almond shaped. The pint can be uncomfortable for some people, especially newbies.
I love both. I'm not too crazy about the needle point style nails, but they look good on some people!!
