You need to get yourself a new bf.. In all seriousness. Thats disgusting and you don't deserve that.

Sorry. I still feel the same. Hope you feel better. Good night.

Girl, let me say something. I have horrible self esteem. I've been suicidal because of weight issues before. I'm always worrying that I'm not perfect enough; always trying to be better.
But it's not up to strangers to provide your happiness or even comfort. Yes, a random compliment can be nice, but the responsibility falls on us and us alone to make the decision to BE HAPPY. If your boyfriend has issues with you, he can hit the road because you are a doll! And you deserve more than that.
But don't come online fishing for boosters for your self esteem, because the world WILL call you out, and you'll end up worse for wear.
Instead, be kind, helpful, and selfless. People will see how sweet and worthwhile you are, and you may make true friends that really care for you. And that's the best esteem booster ever.
Good luck and best wishes. <3

Well don't worry hun you are very pretty and if your boyfriend is calling you fat he is not worth keeping around. Posting the same picture over and over again makes it look like you are looking for attention. Like I said be confident in your beauty and don't worry so much about what other people think. Don't let anyone push you into a dark place and when you are in a bad area of life know that you will pull though from it. Look into the mirror and tell yourself you are beautiful and strong...you will eventually build self confidence and won't need any one else's opinion.

Ya you need to dump your boyfriend..he seems like the main reason why you don't feel confident..if you don't feel beautiful after all the nice compliments youve gotten bc you are beautiful..then what good would anymore compliments do?

I agree. I've seen that picture quite a few times lol. Although I think it's perfectly okay to post a picture of yourself asking how you look and ask for OPINIONS. Not COMPLIMENTS.

Yes I have also seen this picture at leaat three times. youre gorgeous and your boyfriend is a dick. but you can't look for happiness anywhere but yourself. and you can't guilt trip people for saying what they're thinking when youre asking for compliments from everyone. you need to figure things out for yourself. not us. sorry. and exactly. youre going to get opinions not compliments. so you may not hear what you want. you can't be all "you guys are so mean" when you asked what do you think... sorry dear. tis how it is.

Wow I just got this app and I loved it up until I just seen all these comments=/

It seems to me that you posted the "I'm in a dark place" comments so people wouldn't critisize you any more.

Very beautiful!

Not sure what compels people to post negative comments. If you have nothing nice to say or just nothing to say in general, move on. I look to a community for support not to be torn down.

Unfortunate but true...I see this picture a few times a day, same question. either on its own or someone else's post! :/

I think you look lovely and that maybe you should find a bf that makes you feel that way. too many dudes in the world that would appreciate you more!

Maybe try a new makeup technique and post a picture for feedback? or try a new hair style - you'd look lovely with a fishtail braid etc, and people would gladly give you constructive feedback :) plus you'll have fun while trying it out! You may even find a new look you love and it'll boost your confidence :)

@ Darlene M. everyone needs to understand we are all humans on the internet and the internet is not made of rainbows and kittens. you are not always going to hear "nice" comments. whether its a beauty app or not. and yes these comments can come across as rude... but its life.

@kaitlyn B girl I don't care if the worlds a nice place or not...it was just a turn off...a couple comments of tellin her was sup is good enough but the whole dam site thats ridiculous!!...trust I come from a place in this world that very rare things are good n pleasant...

Honestly, if you are in a dark place, take it from me: the last place you want to be is on the internet. It's basically emotional drainage, and it leads to nothing good. I suggest joining support groups, looking into the body positivity movement, and experimenting with more makeup. You have a gorgeous face, and if you take the time to do a different look and post different pictures, who knows, you may catch on with the people here. Until then, get better, recover, and dump that douche bag.

^^ that is probably the best advice anyone will ever give. no matter what, people will chime in with their two cents whether its neccessary or not.

Awe Lauren you look beautiful!! Who cares if she puts the same kinda pic up, don't comment on it then if your sick of seeing it, I see everyone putting pics of themselves up saying how do I look that's one of the points of the site to get feedback and yes compliments!!

Anyone who stays with a guy who puts them down is pathetic... Please dump him.

If you don't like the feedback don't put yourself in the spotlight over and over again. Many of us have similar issues but don't use that as an excuse because you we're attacked. Just move on.
