I use it as an eye makeup remover. Works wonders! I wish I could use it as a moisturizer because it feel so amazing on my skin, but it somehow breaks me out a bit on my cheeks, and I'm not even acne-prone. /-:

You need to be sure and only buy unrefined, or extra virgin coconut oil. When it's refined, the smell, and virtually all of the nutrients get "pressed" out of the oil. Raw, unrefined EXTRA VIRGIN. It makes all the difference.

@lydia DO NOT USE AS HEAT PROTECTANT!! Coconut oil is used for cooking and will basically fry your hair to a crisp😳😱 which is no bueno! I also agree with @mia taryn b. the best coconut oil to buy is UNREFINED EXTRA VIRGIN coconut oil. This. Kind still has all the vitamins and minerals that are good for your hair/skin & still smells like coconut. Refined means its all been taken out😕. Hope that helps😘

On wikihow there is a list if 50 things to do with CO. its awesome. I use it as a diaper cream and on my baby girls craddle cap. I use it as a body scrub, moisturizer, hair mask and even around the house for cleaning! its the best!
