Before you get into makeup, you should do your best to normalize your skin with skincare products. I recommend a liquid gel cleanser (Neutrogena has great cleansers) and an oil-free moisturizer (try Neutrogena or Aveeno). You can also use a mattifying product to absorb oil. For what foundation to use, it's a matter of what you prefer. Personally I love liquid foundation because of how you can blend it for flawless coverage, but you may like a mineral powder better. I recommend giving both a try and seeing what you like best!

Hello Camille! There are many foundations there that indicates what skin type suits it. And yes, choosing a really good foundation is one of the toughest thing especially for beginners in make up. Just try and try and then one day you'll realize that you had found the best foundation for you! PS. I'm also a Pinay like you 👍😊

I've used Mary Kay mineral powder foundation. It's light and doesn't cover very much but maybe it's something you can try?
