So I wanted to attempt a smokey eye using a tutorial off of YouTube and well...this is the final result! So thoughts, opinions, critiques, etc.would all be greatly appreciated.
Also, please ignore the lip color. Already had that on as I wanted to see what it looked like.

You did a lovely job! My only advice would be to add some darker colors in the outer corners of your eyes and blend a teensy bit more! Other than that you did a fabulous job! :)

It's nice makeup. I wouldn't say it was particularly smokey, it's fairly subtle. If you really want it to be super smokey don't be afraid to take the eyeshadow out quite far from the eye. Before you have your liner and mascara on you will feel like it looks ridiculous but you can probably go as much as a cm from the lower lash line as long as its nicely blended. Then again, I do wear a lot of makeup, so that might not be for everyone lol. It is really lovely subtle smokey makeup though, I like the colours you've used, especially the light colour on the lid and it really suits you, so good job :)

Thanks everyone. <3
@Lauren - I will give it a try. It was a bit darker before but I buffed it out as I wasn't sure if I liked it that dark. But I'll give it another shot!
@Kim - Thank you for your honesty! I didn't want to much of a heavy smokey eye, this may be for picture day at work and I'm a two year old associate teacher. I will happily walk in in orange or purple lipstick but I don't want to go to heavy on the eyes. But I will try bolder for my next attempt as I would like to do a glamorous smokey eye for a possible cosplay I have planned for a convention I'm going to.

Erin- I totally get where you're coming from. The first time I tried a smokey eye I wasn't sure of the dark colors, but one you play around with it and adjyst it to your own taste it's a lot of fun! :)
