Alright, so my skin is oily and naturally red for the most part and whatever makeup I apply it always fails and my skin flakes and becomes red again :( I'm really sick of it! My oily skin also makes it worse. Currently I'm on a normal skin care routine and I use moisturizer, toner sometimes, and a regular face wash. Sometimes I use a setting spray but it doesn't do anything! Are there any products makeup wise or skin care wise that will take away that redness? By the way its not a 'cute' tint of red. My entire cheeks are. It makes me even more insecure and I just need some advice! Thank you! Xo.

Oatmeal does wonders for red skin. Check out bubzbeauty on YouTube. She shows you how to help the redness.

I agree with the girls above, oatmeal!
Even better, make an oatmeal face mask with honey and lemon. Just mix together until you get a pasty texture and apply on your face for at least 30 mins. It will right away help with redness and If you do this daily (at least 3x/week) you will see great improvement with your skin overall.
In my personal use, it helped with acne and it's evened out my skin tone and my skin looks healthier in general.

Don't buy the Aveeno skin calming moisturizer, I also have red cheeks and it doesn't help. Also I got a clairasonic brush and I find that it makes my skin even oilier and I have more flakes on my cheeks so I feel like that was also a waste of money...
