No koolaid won't do anything to black hair. there are no ways for you to get color in your hair that's not permanent except for extensions. the rule is if your going lighter then your natural you have to use permanent color or bleach. going darker you can use basically anything. and for bright colors you have to put them on light hair, this is how I always explain it to people imagine I colored with a black crayon and I colored with a yellow crayon if I use pink to color over both of those you won't see the pink on the black crayon you will see it on the yellow.

With very dark brown/black hair types, it really hard to color it without permanent methods. you can try loreal's healthy looks. It' a hair color that only last a few weeks without affecting the hair.
