A lot of my friends wear sock buns or use them to get curls but I cannot seem to do it without missing pieces of hair or making creases! Any help on how I can make it easier or why I can't seem to do it?!

Don't bring the sock all the way to the tip.. Go down a couple of inches before you start to roll.. Really tuck the pieces of hair under the sock after each roll too so it's nice and tight.. The tighter the bun, the nicer the waves.

Socks typically for me are really hard to use too bc they always seem to be uneven and my hair is layered. I bought a hair donut that feels kind of spongey. I bought it from Sally's and it was only about 2 dollars and they have many different sizes. Put your hair in a tight ponytail, stick the end of your hair thru the hair donut and roll your hair back towards your scalp while spreading your hair around the donut. This also works with a sock but if you have layers and frizzy hair like me then you will need gel/hairspray.
