Are high end brands like Mac and Clinique and nars and more really worth it? If so which ones and what products?

Depends on what you like. I personally love NARS tinted moisturizer and have yet to find anything that compares yet. But there are plenty of great drugstore products.

Depends on the product! for example, the high end blushes are made with waaay different materials than drugstore brands, more natural, less filler and usually more noncomedogenic. also, they're milled finer so they look more natural and won't apply so thickly. the same goes for eyeshadow! the texture and quality can skyrocket with some high quality products. basically, if its going directly onto skin, like a concealer or a foundation, it will really be beneficial to splurge, especially if you have sensitive skin. I've found great drugstore mascaras, pencils and lipsticks, so they are easily substituted. its really what you consider "worth it". I like the staying power, sensitive-safe formulas and more healthy ingredients of high end products, plus they usually apply more easily and more smoothly. is every drugstore product junk? nope! are all of the really expensive ones great? think again. this is really just a generalization, but I hope it helps!

Yes, they are. Often drugstore brands can irritate your skin and make you break out. Benefit pore-fessional primer is the best around. I love benefit and too faced and tarte and of those things are great. And you can tell the difference in quality most of the time.

I believe if the product really works, it's worth the money. You just have to see for yourself. I like MAC, tried Clinque but it broke my face out and still need to explore NARS and other brands.

MAC, Bobbi Brown and sephora are my faves and worth the money on the other hand l'oreal and Maybeline are fine too except for the fact that the foundation is too oily.

I think if your willing to pay the money you can like MAC is expensive and everyone wants it but a lot of their stuff isn't that good you can find dupes almost as good for ex:
Mac PaintPot-$28
Maybelline Color Tattoo-$7.00
Mac is four times the price and their like the same thing but, other times high end products are better but I'm kinda cheap and stick to drugstore.
Hope it helps

Actually mac paint pots are $18.50. it depends on what you're looking for. I've found that higher end products work better for my skin, and tend to last longer or be more pigmented. if you're looking for good quality makeup at a drugstore price try inglot. their products are amazing (except for the liquid foindations I've tried) they're pigmented and long lasting. they're also very affordable. eye shadow for $6 and concealer for $12. they're awesome.
