Beauty Blender vs Sonia Kashuk blender.

I've heard great things about the beauty blender but I'm not ready to shell out that much money. I got the Sonia Kashuk Target version of the beauty blender but I'm not super impressed with it. So, my question is.. Does the original beauty blender outperform all the imitators and I should just go ahead and get the real thing OR could it be that I am not using the right technique? Also, what is the proper technique for using a beauty blender?

Hi Lauren... I've tried the Sonia Kashuk and ultra version. I liked them but I want impressed until I decided to go ahead and buy the real beauty blender. What a difference! The song is baby soft, while the fakes are kind of stiff in a way. As far as technique....I wet the BB and apply my foundation in a stippling motion. I also use the pointed side to apply my concealer. I bought another one just for cream blush application. I love it!
