I have had a few serious breakouts recently and normally I have really clear skin.
There not normal spots there really big and deep under the skin so I can't get rid of them and have to wait for them to go they get really swollen as red and it's very painful.
I don't wear much makeup and I don't wear it every day and NEVER sleep with it on and have a good daily skin care routine , cleansing , toning , exfoliating and moisturising.
I use face masks once a week.
I have never had ackney and I'm 20.
Why am I having these break outs? And how can I stop/ prevent them?
Help!!

Can I suggest that you try Proactive? Proactive is extremely affective and the results are amazing! It clears your skin in about 4 days its amazing!

Don't exfoliate everyday. And don't try proactive. Also go see a dermatologist to see if they can find out why this is happening.

I feel your pain. I went from flawless skin to sever acne vulgaris within 2 weeks. It sucked. I was given 55mg minocycline and now (after 2 months) I'm really seeing improvement! I no longer have cysts and I rarely get active pimples. I wash my face twice a day with CeraVe and I use a topical treatment called Duac :) good luck!

Don't exfoliate your skin everyday, your breakouts can be caused in a change to your daily life such as working out, trying new foods, and stress. Maybe take a break from your daily makeup routine so that your skin calms down and has time to breathe. I don't recommend trying proactive, it damages your skin over time. For those bumps under your skin, try "acnomel" cream. It shouldn't irritate your skin. Apply it every night before bed just on the acne (not on your whole face) and leave it on over night and wash it off in the morning, it really helps because it dries out the acne and it works great for those large bumps under the skin.

I suggest you try lush. Lush uses healthy organic products that are great for the skin. And they have a variety of products to choose from depending on your skin

And don't waste your money on proactive because just like every other product it'll work at first but then it'll stop working and make your acne worse

I use only clean and clear and body shop products, and I don't want to use any unnatural / harsh products on my face.
And I do need to exfoliate everyday as I have combination skin that needs it and the one I use is very gentle.

You should only exfoliate 2-3 times a week and you should NEVER exfoliate when you have a breakput because it will spread. my advice is to get a spot treatment (I like clinique acne solutions spot healing gel $16 and it lasts me like 4-5 months) for blemishes and try a cleanser that has salicylic acid.
