So when I'm applying eye shadow I get tons that end up under my eyes which then ends up all over my cheeks. I'm really careful when applying it, I tap the extra off the brush before I get it near my face. Then I have to dab moisturizer under my eyes and on my cheeks and wipe with a tissue but some still gets left behind. It's so annoying that I don't even want to put eye shadow on half the time. What is going on here?

Tip your head forward a tiny bit and gravity will do it's work.

Hi Victoria,
This is a common problem - you're not alone. :)
Here are some tricks I've learned and might be helpful to you:
- Do your eyes before applying foundation - that way if there is any fall out you can always remove it with makeup remover without the risk of ruining your face makeup.
- Instead of moisturizer under your eyes which can actually make your shadows more sticky, tap a loose setting powder under your eyes. When you're done with your eye makeup, use a fluffy brush to lightly brush it all away.
- Try tapping your shadow in place rather than sweeping it on. Once it is tapped in, follow with a blending brush.
I hope that helps!

Dust a layer or translucent powder underneath your eye and on your cheek. You can use a powder puff or a brush that will pick up a lot of powder because youll want a good amount of it. Then apply all the eyeshadow you want, and when youre done just use a brush to dust the translucent powder (and any shadow fall out) off! For me this also works really well to help set my concealer. If too much powder absorbed then blend blend blend!

Make sure you are using an eyeshadow primer so that the shadow has something to grab on to. You can also put a cream shadow underneath your eyeshadow. Another little trick is to hold some tissue paper underneath your eyelid to catch the fallout.

I just use lotion on a cloth and wipe it off if any gets on my face or under my eyes.Works fine for me.
