I don't really know which to use? What would you recommend? I have sort of oily skin and have some acne.

Hi :) I've used Garnier BB Cream, and it's okay. It's definitely a light coverage. You would need to use concealer, and definitely some type of setting powder. I have found that if you use a translucent setting powder after the BB Cream sets in a couple minutes, it looks more natural than if you were to use a colored powder foundation to set it. I have somewhat oily skin, and blemishes. Although, honestly, I would have to recommend foundation. You can still get foundation to be light coverage if you want it to, but can also get medium coverage without looking cakey. I also use primer, just so the foundation won't get deep into my pores and cause more breakouts/acne. I suppose it depends on your preference- How foundation feels or lasts compared to the BB Cream. It also depends on the brand, because I know there are better BB Creams out there that could give better coverage possibly.

If you have oily skin I would personally use foundation. I have very oily skin and I found that bb creams made me super oily throughout the day. I love L'oreal True Match foundation and their powder which I apply a couple times throughout the day if I get a bit shiny.
