Hey girls! I just got an internship at Walt Disney World! Woohoo. My concerns are that I have very oily skin and I'll be sweating at my new job and I don't want my makeup to smear :( Is there any waterproof/sweatproof makeup for oily skin?!

Use a powder on top of your foundation? Or use blot sheets?

I don't know how good it works but elf has a makeup setting spray on their website.

I live in Las Vegas where the summers get well over 114 degrees! I use Model in a Bottle setting spray to set my foundation and it works the best for my combo skin. Try not to apply to much foundation. Just enough to give you the coverage you need.

Congrats on your internship! I have really oily skin myself and I use a light foundation with a matte finish and set with a dusting of powder and then Urban Decay's All Nighter setting spray. Sometimes Sephora has travel sizes of the spray that's perfect to keep on hand with you. :)

I keep hearing that a thin layer of milk of magnesia under foundation will help but I haven't tried it yet.

I recommend to always moisture before applying makeup. The reason why skin becomes oily is because the skin is trying to become hydrated. By applying a hydrating cream/gel (my favorite is Clinque), then a great primer (sometime that doesn't dry the skin), and a tinted moisturizer (my fave is Laura Mercier). By moisturizing your face, it always the skin to breath better and the oil glands will decrease the amount of oil it releases. Hope this works for you.

I have tried the milk of magnesia LOVE IT works really well to keep the shin away. I would recommend getting a mask because I don't like the feeling after I take off my makeup.

Orlando during the summer is no joke! The humidity will literally melt foundation...I live in Florida and learned the hard way my year here. I suggest a tinted moisturizer topped off with a light dusting of setting powder. Make sure both are oil free and then follow with a spritz of Model in a Bottle as suggested by Eileen. Or instead of using tinted moisturizer just create your own by mixing a little bit of foundation into your moisturizer. Congrats on your internship.

I'm native in FL...its insanity with the humidity...keep a spray bottle of cold water with you also. Spritz your face every so often. It does help with a great skin regime. Everyone is different (especially oily skins like us) find what works tee best morning and night, but cold water will keep your face cool, and hydrated. :) I bring one everytime my hubby brings the clan to the beach.

I've used it all. The best setting spray for me was urban decay deslick. It helps control oil and set your makeup. But I still had to blot. I use the POREFESSIONAL by Benefit it's amazing for oily skin. And I use an oil control foundation. It all helps but the best thing I've EVER tried would be Ben Nye luxury powder. When I use this I never blot during the day. It truly works. And it's inexpensive.
