I think you mix it with a little water to make a paste, then rub it on your face

Yes mix It with a little water until to paste and then around in a circular motion as you buff off dead skin.

I use it once a week as a very good exfoliater but only once a week as it's very drying to the skin!

If it burns, instead, sugar and oatmeal. Sugar & water, scrub lightly, then follow with warm cooked oatmeal mask. Hope it works for you. :)

After using baking soda, you should apply a bit of ACV as a toner to rebalance the Ph level of your skin.
