Put some mouse in your hair then small french braid it. Let it dry. Take out braids and use holding spray

Another option would be to curl hair tightly with a wand or curling iron, or use a wavy crimper (It's not like zig zags, it makes really deep curly looking waves. I used that in the picture I uploaded) with a little backcombing for volume. (:

That's a perm.

That's done by using perm rollers. choose the size of the preferred size of curl by the size of roller. wrap hair with rollers, damp it a little with water or mousse. take them out, fluff, style and spray. and voila you should get beyonce perm!!
