My face is naturally oily and I just find a foundation that shouldn't start to come off and become cakey by four or five hours into my day! It bugs me! Help! :(

I work from 9-5 and I had noticed that my face would start to get oily at around 2. I started trying a new foundation routine. I use Revlon ColorStay foundation and I set it with either Rimmel's Stay Matte powder in "transparent" or Lancôme powder in Matte Buff II. Works wonders. I can go from day to night now. As far as looking cakey, try a setting spray like Urban Decay All Nighter.

What if you cut out liquid foundation and tried a full coverage powder like mac studio fix? I have oily skin too but I found that cutting out liquid foundation and using primer, concealer and powder works wayyy better.

For oily skin a mineral powder foundation would work the best. and you can reapply a little to control the oil.

I just tried the Cover Girl Stay Fabulous Outlast 3 in 1 foundation and it worked really well, its supposed to work as a primer, foundation and concealer all in one! Maybe bc its meant to last long like a primer it will help you not to look cakey and oily after a few hours. Of course you probably want to use a setting powder to help lock in the coverage to prevent this as well, hope this helps!
