Please help ladies.. I struggle with blotchy looking foundation. I don't know if it's how I apply it or the foundation I use.. But almost immediately after applying it.. I'll notice that it blotches :(

Combination skin.. And I switch between covergirl 3 in 1 foundation and loreal true match. I apply them with my fingers and sometimes a beauty blender.

It could be the lotion or primer youre using. Try switching that up or waiting at least 5 minutes before applying foundation after moisturizing. Also try applying your makeup with a stippling brush, it will give you an airbrushed look.

Try exfoliating your face and make sure you are using a primer everytime you apply your foundation, it should help a lot with this as it makes foundation application much easier (it just glides on without resistance or settling in dry patches). Applying a moisturizer before your primer is a good idea as well.
