Water Bubbles When Marbling.

Does anyone have any tips on avoiding water bubbles messing up the polish when you do a water marble? I did mine for the first time today and on a few nails I have smudges from water bubbles. It's not anything major but I but annoying and I'd like to avoid it next time I water marble. Thanks.
