Bronze has always worked well for me. You should take your skin's color and undertone into consideration as well. I have pale skin with cool undertones, and although purple eyeshadow is commonly said to make brown eyes pop, with my skin, it makes it look like I'm bruised or have allergies. Try out different colors and see what works for you!

I agree with Alma. Brown is a nude color so you slap anything on top of it lol. But as someone mentioned earlier, just be aware of your undertones. And the various shades of colors of eyeshadows.
