I've dyed my hair twice before (both times purple) and I'm considering changing it more dramatically now. When I was younger my hair was a honey blonde but as I've gotten older its darkened. I either want to lighten it to a soft blonde, dye it a warm black, or darken it to a chestnut brown. What do you think?

If you dye your hair blonde it might be a light hard being that you had already dyed it purple. Colors like purple and red they stain the hair shaft some times. And that is sometimes hard to take out... I wouldn't recommend you dye it black cuz black is a nightmare to take out of your hair if you ever decided to go lighter. But if you dye it brown it will not only look amazing but you have more to play with when it comes to lightening or darkening! :) hope it works

Thanks. And my tips do have a bit of pink staining from the purple so I don't know if I'll be doing that agian.

Black has the most pigment in it so if you ever wanted to go lighter it would be hard so don't go black if you want to go light in the future if you want to go dark for chestnut brown :)! But depending on your skin tone do what suits you the best if your pale don't go to dark but go a light brown if your fair to medium soft blonde :)
