Use a big big curler, wrap your hair around it but don't use the thing that clenches your hair

Get a larger curling wand, like 1.5 to 2 inches and use that.

Wands give it a bigger, waiver look. Not as tight and perfect.

When your hair is damp, French braid it to the side, and use all your hair. Use thick pieces of hair and start with large pieces and end with small pieces :)

A waver iron. They are fast and easy. I've seen great waves produced by them. I'm an idiot when it comes to the curling rods.

Make a braid and then put water on it and sleep in them and then you'll have waves... Usually I do two braids.
