You can learn:
Dutch braid
Fishtail braid
Two French braids on either side of your head (braids but a bit different)
Katniss Everdeen hunger games braid

I suggest practicing with dolls. I learnt on my sisters American Girl Doll. Dolls won't get angry at you for messing up!
