Hey I put olive oil in my hair for about 20 minutes, I tried to stay about an inch away from my roots and than I washed it out and it wasnt greasy just really healthy feeling :)

It's going to depend on what type of hair you have. If you have naturally oily hair you really shouldn't add oil to your hair, it won't turn out so well. If your hair is dry and needs constant moisture though add a moisturizer THEN oil. Oil is meant to keep in moisture and putting it on dry hair will make it shine, but it won't do much for it health wise.

I did it yesterday! Make sure to use extra virgil olive oil. If you can throw your hair in a shower cap, wet a towel, warm it in the microwave, wrap the towel over the shower cap and wait 10-20 minutes and your hair will feel so yummy!

Is it okay to use regular olive oil? does it have to be virgin or extra virgin?

It definitely is okay! I think it all comes down to personal preference. Extra virgin is more "pure" than regular, because it's not mixed with other oils. Extra virgin works wonders for nails and skin too!
