Couple questions!
CoastalScents concealer and NYX Translucent Powder...will they cause flashback?
MUFE Flash Palette...what can I use as a mixing medium to extend the product (black specifically) without altering pigment?
Lastly, what are basic rules to photography makeup? I know no sunscreen and only use mattes.

What kind of look are you goin for? You can use shimmers...sometimes if you use all mattes the look can be very flat. Highlighter has to be blended into skin well so that it creates subtle glow because the camera will pick up things your eye will not necessary see. But keep in mind different textures will add demension to makeup...use them but in the correct manner and blend them well. Good luck Kate and post pics!!

The looks the model wants are mostly black patterns. a cat look which is simple enough. a black lip with a stone covered eye, simple. but the flash palette is for this tribal print she wants? I don't consider myself a regular artist. I figured the flash palette would be the best for this and I have worked with it before. what other product can I use for this? I only have walmarts, craft stores, and drug stores around me and the shoot is tomorrow. suggestions?
