I was on the website and was just wondering if their products are really good. They're pretty inexpensive which is what I need being a college student and not getting many work hours lol. I've heard a lot of good things about them. Any recommendations on products to try?

It's really a hit and miss type of cosmetics line.
They have some really good products - such as their studio brushes, some of their glosses and mineral line lipsticks.
I personally don't like their essential line eye shadows or lipsticks.
Some of the studio line eye shadows are O.K.
And the mineral eye shadows are great.
It's different for everyone. With it being so cheap, it doesn't hurt to try them out!

I haven't tried anything but the liquid eyeliner, which I don't recommend. It takes about 3 coats for me to get the nice dark black I'm usually going for, and even then it sort of flakes off after a couple hours. But like I said, that's the only product of theirs I've tried.

I agree I ordered loads of stuff a while ago for holiday make up and was really happy with the cream eyeshadow. But the bronzed was very poor quality didn't blend. But with the cheap prices it is worth a shot!

I prefer a lot of the products in the studio line. The blushes, HD setting powder, brushes and translucent powder! It's definitely worth the try because it's so fairly priced.

As long as you follow the reviews on their site you should be okay. Don't get something that has only 2 stars. It's going to really suck. As long as you're decent at makeup you should be able to use everything that's rated well. I'm mostly a sephora/Mac girl, so I like more expensive makeup, but elf hasn't done that bad of a job. If you want a list of the products I've tried just let me know.

Also they're fairly easy to return. If something arrives broken, send it back. (That's for their website though. I live in Canada and we don't have elf in stores)

Hit or miss
I like their brushes although they are cheap and break, their 32 pc. warm e.s. palette, and their studio blushes

Hit and miss! Love the studio brushes, jumbo lipstick, and the foundation. Definitely wouldn't recommend the primers or eyeshadow though.
