Biotin Side Effects!

I am interested in using biotin as I really want my hair to grow I just trimmed the dead ends so I want it to be healthier and to grow. But I read that biotin caused some women to grow facial hair. This has really worried me. has this happened to anyone??

I was also interested so I did some research. I found some YouTube videos that some girls said they were using biotin and each girl's side effects were different. One barely noticed any difference and the other noticed some more facial hair. She said some other negative side effects but said that she increased her water intake and that helped..

As a nurse I have studied this, and yes in some cases it does make you grow hair in places you didn't want hair and it can make the hair you have already grow thicker and longer: )

I got really bad acne for a couple of weeks and this was from a low dose. So I am definitely staying away from it.

Biotin will make you break out but that is only if you don't drink your proper amount of water. As long as you are constantly drinking water, it will make your hair grow without the breakouts!

Thanks everyone. I think I will try it and make sure I drink lots of water. if I do get facial hair or bad side effects I can always stop taking it.
