Hi, beauties! I have challenging skin and would really appreciate your advice: I'm 33, I have a few dry patches around my nose but I'm also oily in the t-zone. I have somewhat sensitive skin, still some acne, and rosacea in my cheeks. I bought the oil free flawless face kit from sephora (it's by Laura mercier) & even with the primer beforehand and some concealing after the tinted moisturizer, I'm not happy with the coverage. I don't care about high or low end, I just want better skin!

Estee Lauder double wear stay in place makeup or Estee Lauder double wear maximum cover camouflage makeup is awesome.Sometimes the primer and tinted moisturizer with will not mesh together.Are they all the same brand?

Yea you should make sure you are not mixing a water based primer with a silicone base foundation or vise versa. They will breakdown in a very short time. Also be sure to lightly moisturize, your skin will pull all the foundation out if it is too thirsty.

I used the LM kit and it had primer, tinted moisturizer, two concert let's (one for under eye), brushes, sponge, and powder puff, plus setting powder.

Ok sorry just seen it was that Kit, three tinted moisturizer won't cover much by its self, the concealer should be added over it.but if your not satisfied with the result,I would return it for another product.I see what your talking about and some times we just have to find what works for us.I do recommend the Estee Lauder foundation,I use it to hide my freckles.

I have similar problems as you. I found thr best full coverage foundation for me is either the tarte foundation or the covergirl 3 in 1. With that said, I found the way to apply the foundation very very important. I currently use the MAC 187 brush. It is important to stipple on the foundation for a full coverage.

Also for skincare (not sure if you are interested?) I use the cereve cleanser and moisturizer. I found that it helped with my acne, but did not dry my eczema spots. This line was recommended to me by my dermatologist.
