Try a basic cleanser like Cetaphil. Most of the very 'commercial' brands like Neutrogena and Clean and Clear have a lot of unnecessary chemicals in their products. Always go as pure as you can! Exfoliate once or twice a week, and have a spa day once a month where you steam your face and follow up with an face mask that really deep cleanses your pores. You can pop the blackheads, but use a tissue or something so you don't spread any bacteria from your hands to your face. Don't use any blackhead remover tools; they usually scar or irritate the skin.
Personally, I enjoy pampering myself with a facial at the salon every other month.

Use a cleanser with salicylic acid (it will help with breakouts and acne), use a toner to balance the pH level of the skin, face mask (clay is better!), serum or sunscreen, then a moisturizer :)
