Sponges have a tendency to absorb a lot of product. Brushes typically can give a better finish, but it's all dependent on what you like.

I find myself switching between my Beauty Blender and my Real Techniques expert face brush. I love them BOTH! :)

I use generic non-latex circular sponges. I found that a brush exacerbates my dry skin and makes it flaky, while a sponge smooths foundation on perfectly.

Brushes, for me, work wayyyy better than sponges. It gets more product on your face, so you don't waste any foundation. I put on my makeup with a brush but since a brush tends to leave line, I blend my foundation out with a sponge. It's my net favorite way to do my makeup. :)

The old fashion way works best for me I don't like brushes or sponges I use my hands and apply it like a cream always works best and looks natural no lines

I buy real techniques at ulta. I like the foundation brush and the stippling brush. I prefer a brush with dense bristles and a relatively flat surface on the ends. I find I get more coverage an less lines. But like anything else in make up its a preference.

I use a foundation brush a sponge to blend but I use my fingers for bb cream as it gives the best finish for me.

I use a brush... I find that I use two times more product when applying with a sponge. but I sometimes like too pat a sponge on top on my brush applied foundation when I feel like I have put it on too thick:)

I use a Mac 187 for liquid foundation and a beauty blender for cream foundation. Works well for me.

I had been using those triangular sponge applicators for a while, but when I ran out I decided to try an ELF foundation brush and I love it! The only thing is that it can sometimes be a pain to clean. You'll think you got it all, but then there's always a bit of foundation hiding in there that you've missed!

I wet a sponge, squeeze out some water, and then apply. It comes out so much more even and natural looking than a brush or used alone.
