I have pretty normal skin- a little drier in the winter, and only a little oily when it's hotter out

Hi love! have you tried mac yet? I would reallllyy suggest getting color matched at Mac. They have a really big selection of shades- ESP lighter ones &many people I know who are very pale, get their foundations there! Xo.

If your budget allows, Illamasqua makes a white foundation that can be mixed with others to make them lighter.

Dainty Doll by Nicola Roberts is made especially for pale skin but I'm not sure if you're from USA it might be harder for you to find :)

As far as drug store, flower's about face foundation is really really pale, makes your face look bright, but I don't love it.

I had the same problem finding makeup that matched my pale skin. I finally found Skin79 on amazon and its the only thing I use anymore! It's a medium coverage BB cream created originally for Asian woman recovering from cosmetic surgery and other facial surgical procedures to wear (during and after) the healing process. It only comes in one shade, but it blends and morphs itself somehow to perfectly match your skin - my sister uses it, too, and she is a bit paler than I am, but it matches both of us perfectly. You should check out amazon and get a sample (about 3-4 uses). Also, it's jam packed with nutrients since its meant to help with healing. My skin has been incredible since I've added it to my daily makeup!! I love it, obviously lol :)

Have you tried Urban Decays Illusion or Razor Sharp? I am super duper pale and Illusion works great for me, but if that still is too dark try Razor Sharp, it isn't listed as a foundation but can be used and works well as one.

Ashley- which skin 79 bb cream do you use? the pink one, orange one, or the gold one? you do also know that most asian bb creams have skin whiteners in them and will over time make your skin more pale. it's not nessicarily a bad thing, just thought you should know! But I've been dying to try the skin 79 bb cream out, and am hesitatant which one I should get because I have dry skin so I don't know which one would be best? What type of skin do you have? xo.

I've been using Skin 79 (the orange one) for a few months. I also have very fair skin being a natural redhead and have the same issue finding make up that's light enough. Amanda I would probably avoid the orange one if you have dry skin. I noticed that where my skin was oily it became normal and where it was normal was now dry. For me it wasn't love at first try but don't give up on using it. It took a couple weeks to get everything perfect. It's very easy to use too much but worth the effort. As for the whitening it's only supposed to target age spots and freckles not your actual skin but it hasn't done that at all for me. Most likely because you use such a small amount. Keep that in mind when you read it has spf because you're not using enough for it to be that affective. Overall I love it but you have to keep up on exfoliating and moisturizing (not a bad thing) so you don't look dried out. Sorry so long. Hope this helps.

I have been using Skin 79-pink one for about a year now. At first I did not love it/was used to wearing too much foundation. I am now in love with it...foundation now annoys me. My skin is somewhat oily and the pink one works great.
