So my hair is a little past shoulders and I want it longer! Next yr I will be in highschool and I want my hair long for highschool. I don't think my hair will grow to the length I want it to by the end of the summer:/ Should I get extensions? If so, shud I get clip ins or glue ins? I was considuring glue ins cuz I think it would be a pain to clip in hair extensions eveyrday:/ any advice?

No I think it's fine. If you want longer hair go ahead and get extensions.

I know many girls that are 13 or 14 that have extensions, so no 14 is not too young =)
With clip in extensions, you can take them out whenever you want and are good of you want to change your hair for a day. The bad thing about clip ins I that they can fall out and if you want your hair to be long for awhile, then this would be a pain
For glue in extensions, they feel like real hair and they won't fall. If you want your hair to be long for a long time, then this would be the best option. The bad thing about glue ins is that you have to take really good care of them and it can damage your hair. Also, if you don't like them, them it will be hard to remove them and it would be hard to straighten the roots of your hair once your starts growing out with the extensions.

No way!:) any age is fine!! I e had some many extensions and I've found micro bead to be the best clip ins can some times look cheap and nasty and they slip down all the time and the clips can be seen. When I got glue in my new hair grew around the glue and became a massive mattered mess that had to be CUT out and my hair is still growing in some place a year on! But definitely go for extensions, you'll love them :) xx

Yes if they look veeerrrryyy natural. I like them but in oppinion if they don't look natural and you can see the clip in they look trashy.

My friend is 14 and she got extensions, but after a while she got bored of them and had to burn them out. Personally I would have cut them but burning was her choice.

When I was 14 I got glued extensions for various reasons and they were very hard to manage! your life ends up revolving around them for weeks! I think get a good pair of clip ins and in summer put them in every day and see how you fare :) if you think your ready for glues then go for it:)

Nah not too young hehe, personally get clip ins my friend had glue ins twice and all they did is fall out and only last 3 months and there a lot of money to only last that long.

Of course you're not too young to have extensions. But make sure you save a lot of money and buy some really good extensions because if you buy cheap ones then they'll fry when you try to style them with heat. I would recommend clip ins because you can take them out when they start bothering you and once your used to putting them in all the time it'll be faster in the morning.

Fourteen is definitely old enough, if your parents are cool with it. I'd say clip-in. I've never gotten glue, just sew ins, and I wouldn't change a thing. Just because there are so many things that can go wrong with glue and hair. Clips are safer.
