Ok curly hair girls...can ombre coloring work on curly hair? my hair is super curly and I've been loving the ombre trend but I'm afraid of the drying effect on my curls.

Sure it can. I do lots of natural curl ombre. So for someone who it experienced in the technique would have no problem with yours. The only difference would to make sure the layers match the flow of the ombre so that it is consistent.
I say if you love it do it!

OMG you have GORGEOUS hair! I can see how you'd be worried about the drying effect. My sister has curly hair and she's always complaining about the dryness of having curly hair. I'm sure if you keep it moisturized and hydrated you'll be fine!

I have wavy hair and have ombre hair as well. It looks really pretty on curls! I'm sure if you go to a pro like Kimi said you won't have any problems getting it done.

Thanks girls! I have been avoiding bleach for over a year because I used to have the peekaboo highlights before and my hair was uber dry. I want something natural looking maybe even darker than pic I posted. will make sure colorist is experienced in ombre on curly hair.

Bleaches/color lifts and some dyes can leave anyone's hair dry. Use a leave in conditioner if your curls feel dry/brittle and maybe don't shampoo every day. I know some curly haired people who only wash it once-twice a week because their hair is so dry
