So , I Have A Gap In My Front Teeth >:o I Mean It's Not Big At All... But It's Still Noticeable. I've Been Considering Getting Braces , Even Though People Say I Don't Need Them. Do They Hurt Getting Them On , After There On , Tightening , Or Even Eating?...

I had a gap between mine and it looks a lot better to me now. Plus my jaw was kinda messed up and now it's better. They hurt for like a week when you get them on and tightened. But I ate everything and had no problems I got a water pick which I highly recommend. :)

I think it also depends on how bad your teeth are to how much it hurts I had mega crowded teeth like dog teeth lol thats what people use to say to me I had to get 4 adult teeth removed to actually get them straight and fitting good but if yours is just for a little gap at the front I doubt it would hurt as bad as mine did.

I had them for two years, when they first put them on after couple hours it hurts like hell DX hurts to eat.. It's awful. But for me it got better after a couple weeks. Then after I got them tightened each time it hurt a little bit for like a day or two. Not nearly as bad though. It's a little uncomfortable to have them put on but it's not too bad and there's no pain. If you get them just make sure you keep them clean and take Advil if it hurts.

I have braces and I really don't think they hurt nearly as much as everyone told me, and in my case they should have been pretty painful since they were really bad. It still hurts to get them tightened but it's really not so bad it goes away in a couple days, sometimes in a few hours.
