For redness apply ice for a bit and just keep it clean and don't touch your face a lot.

Put fluoride toothpaste on it. The spot will dry out and within 1-3 days be gone! Good luck! :D.

Being quite the compulsive picker myself, I've learned that the best thing to help the spot heal faster and reduce scarring is to keep it as MOIST. As you can. Apply neosprin or aquaphor on the spot and cover with a bandage before bed. Once the spot starts to turn light pink in the healing process I recommend using bio oil or a scar gel to help reduce and prevent a scar:)
