Eye Palette Help, Please!!

As a self-diagnosed "product junkie", I've found throughout the years that I am truly a sucker for a good deal on higher-end products. Well, two gorgeous, highly rated eye palettes from Urban Decay were on sale a few weeks ago and I just couldn't resist. This was my FIRST (and possibly my last) UD eyeshadow/palette purchase, though. The colors are gorgeous, they last all day without creasing... But, holy glitter!! I just open the cases of these beautiful palettes and somehow I start sparkling like Edward Cullen! I've tried shields, "patting" the shadow vs. sweeping, three types/brands of primers, doing my foundation and face makeup after my eyes, and all my effort is wasted because this glitter is seriously unstoppable!! Are there ANY eye palettes (aside from MAC ;)) that are primarily matte and/or fine shimmer and without glitter-filled shades? I know some people love glitter, but it's just not for me... I'm fine with a little sparkle with VERY fine shimmer in my shadows... But, chunks of glitter?? No. (The palettes were Mariposa and Ammo, by the way!!) So, please help!! What palette do you absolutely love?? 😘

Hahaha I don't know why this entertained me so much but it did. Urban redid the formula on all of their shadows so the old ones all went on sale. And the old shadows, which you have, were highly known for their outrageous glitter fallout. It happens. You could try a lot of different brands though. Lorac, Too Faced which actually are more powdery than Urban, Stila has quite a few good palettes also. But none of those brands really use glitter like urban does so they might work out better for you.
