How can I do ombré nails without a sponge? If its possible?!

I think a sponge is the only way to get a smooth gradient, but if not you could try colour blocking, or even painting each nail a slightly different shade to achieve an ombré effect. if you haven't got access to a sponge, perhaps you could try a sponge eyeshadow applicator?

I don't think making ombre nails without a sponge is possible.
