My hair has been just over shoulder length for as long as I can remember! it's always been quite fine, so to supplement this, I'd back comb the roots to make it bigger. I realised that this was making my hair very unhealthy so stopped, but I really want my hair to grow, is there any way to speed up the process?

Try putting oil in your hair! it helps make it long and shiny too! use coconut oil and almond oil. and when you put it in your hair, make sure you rub it in the roots of your hair.

Try doing it every night before you go to bed and in the morning just wash it out.

Use hot oil treatments drink a lot of water. Eat healthy too. Healthy hair starts with a healthy body. Make sure you're receiving daily vitamins. Don't brush or comb your hair when it's wet, it can break your hair. And just don't add heat to your hair. It won't grow long over night if course but if you're committed and have some patience you will definitely see results. (: good luck.
