It might be the shampoo you're using. I also have a problem with very oily hair. I used to use Garnier shampoo and found out from my stylist that their shampoos contain a lot of wax and can 'weight' your hair down after a while. So I switched to Suave shampoo (fairly cheap and easy to find at any drugstore or grocery store) and my hair looks and feels much better. :) That's my suggestion.

I used to have really oily hair but I stopped washing it every day which has helped a lot. I can go for two days now without ahowering.

You need a clarifying shampoo. it will strip all kinds of gunk and oil. but be wary if you have colored hair cause it will strip that too.

Dry shampoo. wash your hair every other day. switch shampoos.
