Hair Dying Advice

Okay so I really like dying my hair crazy colors like blue and I used to have blue hair but my boyfriend's mother hates unnatural colored hair but won't give a logic reason why she dislikes it and I just don't know what to do. any advice?

Maybe dye the top 3rd of your hair a natural color & have your crazy colors pop out underneath. & when your around your boyfriends mother wear your hair down so it's not that bad.
