Sewing pins (the beads are great dotting tools), needles (for the tie-dye or drag-through look), paint brushes and a paint palette with the little wells. Super glue to mend split nails.

If you split an orange stick in half and file it down to make it round you can use it for large dots. Found this out from someone on here and it works great.

I've used toothpicks and bobby pins as dotting tools.

I use a bobby pin. I bend it so its strait and bite of one of the safety tips so one side is for dotting and the other is flat for doing lines.

You can turn the top of a pencil eraser into any design using a blade. just draw the design on the eraser with a pen and then carve around it
