I'm thinking of getting colored contacts just to change my look up a bit but I don't know where to start. do they irritate your eyes? are they hard to put on?

I honestly think it would look extremely weird changing your eye color all of the sudden hehe :p

It is seriously important that you go and get your eyes checked in contact fitted by an optometrist before doing anything. you can go blind scratch your eye if you randomly put contacts in your eyes that aren't meant for them. I hear pink paradise.com have a great selection and reasonable prices. and yes, those changing your eye color randomly may seem "weird", so can changing your lipstick color. it's all cosmetic. :p.

Just go to a smoke shop of flea market & get some they usually have hella different kinds and colors.
I use prescription colored contacts, but putting any contacts in should be easy. For a day or 2 before getting them try just putting your finger as close to your eyeball as possible to train your eye to stay open and be okay when you actually put the contacts in. Your eyes will probably water the first few times so put them in before you do your makeup.
