So I just got this liquid foundation today and I was wondering if anyone else has it and what you think of it? Does it actualy help oily skin stay controlled and how long does it last??

I bought it and didn't see a difference in my oily skin.. I also used POREfessional by Benefit as a primer and a matte setting powder as well with no help, also felt that bc I'm oily, it became very cakey., oh well on to the next.

I've used it before and still mix it in with other foundations I have. I didn't really notice a difference wearing it solo, but I would give it a few more days and see if you notice anything.

I've used it for ages now, I always try other ones but end up going straight back to this!
I have really oily skin, as in I put my make up on and 5mins later its sliding off ny face and I have big muddy gaps!
colorstay doesn't do that if you apply it properly!
I put concealer on first, then apply colourstay but very lightly, it feels very wet and greasy to me so I wait for it to dry abit and layer it slowly instead of piling it on. I find it still feels very wet so I use quite a lot of powder to set it, and kind of dab the powder in rather than sweeping it on.
once set it stays all day for me, I've even slept in it after a night out (don't judge me ha!) and it was still pretty perfect the next day!

you may need some pretty brutal make up remover though lol.

I love this foundation. I usually switch up my foundation but I always get a bottle of this as a "just in case" because it's the only one that'll stay put for 12 hours.

I'm super oily too. And really I don't use any primers or powder with it. Unless I have like a 16 hour day lol.

But if you're having trouble with it staying, try using less of the product because I know when I slathered it on all at once it didn't really stay. It just felt wet and cakey. So start out light then build it up in areas you wan more coverage. It is a pretty medium to full coverage foundation though.

It sets on its own. And the directions say to blend quickly because it seriously dries that fast. I didn't notice til I tried to put it on a friend with dry skin lol.

One downfall is that it can cake up on your brushes pretty fast. Most liquid foundations aren't quite as thick or at least don't dry as thick so yeah. It's weird but it works. Lol
