Want honest opinions on facial piercings!

It looks very simple & you pull it off well. You'd think with their immense popularity, piercings wouldn't be seen as anything negative. However, the older the generation, the more likely they are going to judge you for having them. I've recently gotten microdermals on my hips. The reaction from the 40+ crowd has been more or less "...why on earth?"
I suggest to keep the look if you're in love with it and let your actions and words speak for your character.

Well I love it! IM 29 and have my nose pierce and have 3 kids ages 1, 3 and 4. IM not trashy or IM just a stay at home mom and my husband works out of state. anyway IM dyeing to get my lip pierced. We can't help what we think looks beautiful.

You are very young and that allows you to do whatever you want to yourself but after 30s I think that only one piercing is ok.I believe so because kids might get false messages and do what you do to their selves.also when they are going to go to school they might have problems with the other kids because you are different from their mums.btw you are not to much!you are ok for your age..

Yeah really I mean I'm 24 damn years old, lol. I think my piercing is pretty.. but they said I was one of the ONLY people who would agree with that. I also have tats, which they also hate.. only 2, but still. HATE them. Closed minded people..

I think 30-35 would still be okay.. I mean I don't think I would love a 40year old with a lip ring but then again it would depend on what that 40 year old looked like.. it all depends on your style. I mean you can't rock a lip ring and wear mom khaki's and polo shirts.. haha

I'm seriously just all for whatever makes you happy. I plan on getting tons of botox if I live to be 40.. no joke. If I have wrinkles anyway.. I may get lucky because my dad is 50 and doesn't have any. lol.

Don't change who you are. You're a happy mom and you're a happy wife, but most of all you are happy with the person you are. Makeup, piercings and tattoos are just the outside. Even your husband doesn't have a problem with it, so why change yourself and be a person who you're not? You're beautiful and it shows by the character you have.. So if I were you, I won't change anything. And if people judge you on your looks, let them. If they get to know you, they will see that you're more then your piercings and your tattoos. And you said it yourself.. people with an edge are for more interesting and fun ;)

Omg I don't know why ppl make such a big deal about your peircing it's very simple and cute its not like you have a face full. I know how your feeling my fiances ex wife told his kids I was a trashy whore because I have one tattoo and a navel peircing. Once upon a time I wanted a tatoo and piercing. I got navel ring and 5 holes in ears. Today that I'm turning 29 all I can say is thank god I didnt do it. Navel ring is long going to, it doesn't really look good on anyone unless you have sizpack to show. Earings are just one instead of 5. When I want to look more fierce I just put on a fake one for the day. But at night when I peel off all clothing and makeup I'm just clean beautiful me without any added extras. Seems older I get more natural I like. But I'm very happy I don't have permanent hole in my face. You look beautiful and its not dominant in your face. But I still think ud look better without.

But if you really like it and your husband wouldnt I'd still keep it. I don't think anyone should change to please someone else. My husband like short hair on me. I prefer long. Obv I keep them as I like. Not like he does. He is suppose to love me anyway, right? If piercings etc.become problem with partner, guess its wrong partner. You like it, he likes it... I don't really see problem for you to keep the ring:)

I am also 24 and a mother. I have had my lip pierced since I turned 18. I also have 1/2" gauges and multiple piercings in both ears, a star tattoo on each middle finger knuckle, a symbol of my favorite band on the inside of my arm, and my son's name on the outside. Oh, and my hair is purple lol. It doesn't matter what you look like its all about how you carry yourself. Don't let people get under your skin for judging the way you look. I am currently going to school to be a paralegal and I fully believe I can have a professional career while still being myself. I think your lip piercing is cute! Keep on rocking it! :)

Most people judge based on appearances. If they don't take the time to get to know the real you before they judge then screw them and they weren't worth a second of your time.
