I love dreads but just know if you decide you dnt want them anymore you have to basically shave your head. I know a girl that grew hers out n she cute hers off and had about an inch of hair.

I had them for 2 years. They smell. Your scalp gets itchy. No one wants to come near you ha ha. Pain in the bum. I had to cut my hair relatively short afterwards. At the time I liked them but I could never go back there after all the trouble they ended up really being.

I think dreads look awesome and you should go for it if you like it. This site seems to have all the information on different methods on how to do them, products, information, etc.

You are supposed to wash them! Just not as often as I do now. There is just technique to washing with dreads.

I've known women with dread down to their behinds and they did no stink. Actually they both smelled clean and they had beautiful hair. I'm not a fan of dreads for myself. My natural hair gives me too many options to limit it with braids or a perm.

ACTUALLY... If your not sure about getting them permanently then the is such thing as dread extentions. If you don't like them then you can easily get then removed by a professional. If you like them then you can keep them and get your real hair locked into then personally. Look up dread extensions on YouTube. There are tons of videos on there.
